Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a professional holiday for employees of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan. By the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev dated May 22, 1998, every year, June 26 in Azerbaijan is celebrated as the Day of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.
